After the sale of the Victorian AIDS Council’s building in Claremont St. South Yarra, the VAC, now known as Thorne Harbour Health, continued to support the Archives by providing a dedicated Reading Room for the Archives at their temporary office space at 615 St. Kilda Road Melbourne, where part of the collection was relocated on 15 November 2017. Now measured in hundreds of shelf-metres the majority of the collection was stored off-site at two different rented locations and the material stored at members’ homes was consolidated into these spaces.
