In early 1981 the Archives took up the offer of a room in The Hub, a centre at 144 Adderley St. West Melbourne operated by John Willis, pastor of Christ’s Community Church, growing over time to two rooms.  In September 1987 public meetings to canvas options for Archives accommodation with the forthcoming sale of The Hub’s building did not find a satisfactory solution.
