Open Day

29 March 2013

The Archives’ first Open Day for 2013 is celebrating the T in LGBTI – from the Seahorse Club through radical challenges to the male-female binary, via transvestites, transsesxuals, transgenders, trans* … We have been rummaging through the newsletters and zines, ephemera, posters and photos, so come and see what we have.

And if you have stuff that we should have, or ideas about what we should be looking for, come along and help us out. After all, the collection is only as good as we all make it.

Refreshments, tours of the collection, opportunities to chat with fellow history-lovers … What better way to spend a Sunday arvo!

When: Sunday 7 April 2013; 2-5 pm
Where: ALGA, 6 Claremont St, South Yarra
