The Archives holds a large collection of marriage equality news coverage in the Barry McKay Collection, including this Channel Nine News Melbourne story about the marriage of partners and activists Ron Van Houwelingen and Antony McManus. Barry captured 183 television news broadcasts, along with 257 radio broadcasts, documenting marriage equality news coverage, during the campaign and following the passing of the amendment to the Marriage Act. Barry has also donated interviews and events he has filmed featuring Aboriginal drag queens and Sistergirls between 2018 and 2020.
