This Roo Bike Club overlay was produced by Colin Simson, and documents his involvement in the Australian motor club scene during the 1980s and 1990s. Club overlays in Australia were invariably made as denim vests featuring a main club patch on the back, and an array of associate member patches, club-run badges, ribbons etc. These overlays were worn on club runs and associated official events. In addition to this overlay, the Archives holds the Papers of Colin Simson, as well as the Colin Simson Collection of pulp fiction books. The Archives holds a significant and growing collection of material documenting Australia’s gay and lesbian motorcycle clubs.
